My Baby Bites Everything....?

My baby has a tendancy to stick anything he gets his hands on - in his mouth. He's about to turn 9 months and I'd really like to get him to stop but can't figure out a way to do it. I watch him constantly and dont want this to be a hazardous issue once he goes to daycare - Anyone have any ideas or experiences you can share - all are welcome - Thank You.
