My husband and i are married for 6 yrs and together for 9, i can't get over the past?

i posted a question yesterday, but from all the answers i could tell that noone understood, my fault probably didn't make myself clear enough. my husband moved in w/ me in 1998, he was 23, i was 30 at the time( we shared the expenses) when we had problems & it got overwhelming he would leave i know that i could be tough sometimes, its hard for me to let go of things, but i think leaving makes things worse. when he wld leave he wld go stay w/ his brother or other male friends. we got married in 2001, we now have 2 boys. he con';td this for about yrs into our marriage, but by that time i started kicking him out.the leaving died down. after 1st son was born. things have stabilized more today i guess he's matured alot, he's now 32, we communicate a little better & no more leaving but its still hard for me to forgive & forget . back then he wld leave if things got really ugly or if he got tired of fighting. sld i let go of the past does his leaving in the past mean he doesnt love me?
