MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOLERS!!? Can you answer me please?

alright- i'm really good friends with this guy. I'm almost positive it's just as friends- but he told me he would slowdance with me at my friend's bat mitzvah. We share almost everything. He's such a sweetheart and he said he would do it so i would have somebody to snowball with. I'm new at my school and I've known him as a family friend for awhile. He has a girlfriend. But it's been 4 months and they haven't kissed. And they hardly hug eachother or talk in person. It's this a Taylor Swift "You Belong with Me" Situation? I mean i know that hardly happens but i just can't tell.
